Sample report

Where leads go quiet: a sample week-1 report.

This is the one-page report you get at the end of week 1 of estimate follow-up, filled in for a business that does not exist.

Where leads go quiet

  1. Most silent estimates were never chased

38 of 64 estimates got no yes or no. Only 9 got any follow-up, and the first one came about six days after sending.

  2. After-hours callers wait until the next day

The evening test call went to voicemail and was returned 19 hours later. There is no text back to tell the caller someone will call.

  3. Web inquiries sit in an inbox

The test inquiry got an answer two days later. The form emails a shared inbox that is checked when the office has time.

Fixes for week 2

  • Turn on the software’s quote follow-up: a message on day 2, 5 and 10 after an estimate, written in the owner’s words
  • Turn on the missed-call text-back: one reply to the caller saying when they will hear back
  • Send web-form alerts to the office phone as well as the inbox
  • Show the office manager how to pause follow-up for a customer who has already decided
